Ahead of the crucial 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifier against the Pharaohs, the Super Eagles arrived Alexandria, Egypt on Monday at about 6.35pm local time, 5.35pm Nigerian time.
The team and officials departed Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja in the afternoon aboard a chartered Arik flight.
On arrival at the Borg Flarab International Airport, Alexandria, the delegation led by the President of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Amaju Pinnick, was received by Nigerian Embassy officials.
Other top NFF bosses on the delegation are first and second Vice President, Seyi Akinwunmi and Shehu Dikko respectively.
Also in Alexandria to boost the team’s morale are NFF Scribe, Mohammed Sanusi, heads of departments and a former NFF President Aminu Maigari.
The players are in high spirit, looking forward to defeating the Pharaohs on their soil to secure the 2017 Afcon ticket.
The players are billed to have their first training later this night.
Prompt News recalls that the Pharaohs picked a draw when they clashed against the Super Eagles in Kaduna, North-West Nigeria last Friday.
