The Super Eagles camp in Calabar, Cross River State will open this Monday in the Canaan City, with almost all the players expected between Monday evening and Tuesday Morning, according to the Team’s Scribe, Dayo Enebi Achor.
Earlier Cross River State Sports Commissioner, Hon Patrick Ugbe, has revealed that all necessary logistics have been put in place for a fruitful camping and eventual victory for the national team on Saturday against the Wyalain Antelopes of Ethiopia. “On our part we are serious, quick and ready for the national teamas always because we are used to them and they are used to us. We expect nothing but a handsome victory and we know the team is up to it”, Ugbe said on return from UAE, where he had gone to cheer the Golden Eaglets to victory.
Achor on his part says he expects that training will start on Tuesday morning depending on the arrival schedule of most players, adding that by their schedule the Eagles will have a healthy training schedule before the game. “The team will be ready, healthy and well and all of our players are well for the battle for the ticket to Brazil 2014. That will be seen on Saturday at the UJ Esuene Stadium”, Achor quoted Keshi as saying at the weekend.
