Domestic air travellers in Nigeria paid 25 per cent more for flights in July 2024 compared to the same period in the previous year, according to a new report by the Nigerian Bureau of Statistics (NBS),
The NBS Transport Fare Watch Report for July 2024 revealed that the average airfare rose to ₦98,561.74, a significant increase from ₦78,775.74 in July 2023, marking a 25.12 per cent year-on-year (YoY) rise.
