The Nigeria Directors of Sports Forum has congratulated the President of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Mr. Amaju Pinnick on his victory at the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Polls on Thursday.
The Chairman of the Forum, Coach Tunde Kazeem, said in a statement on Monday in Ilorin that Mr. Pinnick’s emergence as a CAF Executive Committee Member has opened a new chapter in the nation’s football development.
Kazeem urged Mr. Pinnick to use his new position to better the fortunes of the country’s football development.
The statement advised the NFF President to give priority to grassroots football as it remained the only way to ensure a steady growth of the round leather game.
The Forum prayed to God to grant Mr. Pinnick good health and strength to carry out his duties.
