Nigeria forward Emmanuel Dennis scored twice as Club Brugge were forced to a 2-2 draw by Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday.
Brugge took the lead in the ninth minute after Dennis met a cross inside Real Madrid box and slotted the ball home.
The goal was reviewed by VAR for two possible offside calls but the decision was eventually given in the favour of the visitors.
Dennis further silenced the home fans when he got the second before the break.
He is the third Nigerian to score against Real Madrid in the competition, after James Obiorah and Ayila Yussuf.
Dennis’ international teammmate, Dennis Okereke was not listed for the game.
Real hit back through Casemiro and a controversial header from Sergio Ramos late in the second half.
