By Godwin Kingsley The Senator representing Plateau North constituency at the National Assembly, Gyang Nyam Pwajok, has called on the nation to pray for the victims who were critically wounded as a result of the recent bomb blast that occurred in Jos.
The Senator made the call on Thursday, after visiting the victims at the Jos University Teaching Hospital, JUTH, and Plateau Specialist hospital Jos to offer words of encouragement to them.
Speaking through his Senior Legislative assistant, Abe Aku, Pwajok said. “We all have to keep the victims in our thoughts and prayers and also keep praying for lasting peace in our dear state and nation at large.”
Describing the incident as unfortunate, Pwajok wondered why innocent Nigerians who are struggling to make a living out of the economic challenges facing the nation should become cheap targets of terror attacks and other merchants of violence.

At this moment, our hearts goes out to those who lost their loved ones. We know that they must be in serious pains; what happened was rather unfortunate and we can only say that this is one killing too many”, He said.
He also applauded security operatives and other agencies for the rescue procedures adopted immediately after the blast by helping in rushing the victims to various hospitals.
