Justice Danlami Senchi of the Federal Capital Territory High Court Wednesday granted an order of interim injunction stopping Mr. Adams Oshiomhole from parading himself as the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Granting the injunction, the Judge posited that political parties must be bound by their constitution.
According to Justice Senchi, since Mr Oshiomhole has been suspended by his ward, he could no longer function as the National Chairman of the party pending the hearing and determination of the substantive suit.
The Judge thereafter fixed hearing for April 7 and 8, 2020.
Prompt News recalls that Mr Oshiomhole has been under intense pressure from different groups within the party to quit as national chairman.
