A Chief Magistrates’ Court in Yola on Tuesday, ordered that two unemployed men should be remanded in the Jimeta correctional centre until May 6 for collaboration of evidence and possible summary trial.
The police charged Sadiq Awal, 20 and Inuwa Sabo, 19 both of Jambutu Yola, with criminal conspiracy and theft before Chief Magistrate Musa Adamu.
He ordered that the accused be remanded, following their guilty plea.
Earlier, the Police prosecutor, Emmanuel Paul, had told the court that ASP Danbaba Mohammed, attached to Crack Squad, Yola arrested the defendants at about 9:30 pm on April 28.

Emmanuel said that while the crack squad was on patrol, they sighted the defendants pulling two rams.
He said the defendants were immediately arrested and during police investigation, they pleaded guilty to the crime.
The prosecutor said the offence contravened the provisions of sections 60 and 276 of the penal code law of Adamawa state 2018.(NAN)
