A Badagry Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos has ordered the remand of Elizabeth Paul, 26, and Kolawole Yemi, 26, in a correction centre for pleading guilty to stealing property valued N4 million.
They were charged with a two-count of felony and stealing.

Chief Magistrate N. A. Layeni adjourned the case until May 22, for evidence and sentence.
The Prosecution Counsel, Insp Edet Ekpo told the court that the defendants committed the offences on April 28 and 30, at the Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education Estate, Ikoga-Zebbe, Badagry, Lagos.
Ekpo said they conspired among themselves to commit felony to wit stealing.

“He stole gold jewelries valued N1.5million and clothes, bracelet, bangles and other property valued N2.5million.
“All property stolen by the defendants valued N4 million belongs to Mrs Olabisi Sholarin, the complainant,” he said.
He said the offences contravened the provisions of sections 411and 287 of the criminal law of Lagos State 2015. (NAN)
