The Commissioner of Police (CP) Kaduna State Command, Ali Audu Dabigi says recruitment screening exercise into the Nigeria Police Force is free of charge.
Dabigi made this known in a statement by the command’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Mansir Hassan on Friday in Kaduna.
According to Dabigi, the command will not hesitate to deal decisively with anyone involved in any corrupt practices including the applicants.
“I wish to inform the good people of Kaduna state that the Nigeria Police Recruitment Board invites all candidates, who successfully completed the online registration for recruitment into the force as Constable (General Duty/Specialist) for Automated Physical/Credentials Screening Exercise.
“The exercise, which is free is expected to hold from Jan. 8 to Jan. 29. The screening will start 0700hrs daily at the police officers mess, Kaduna.
“All applicants are to appear at the screening centre in their clean white T-shirts and shorts with mandatory basic screening requirements neatly arranged in two white flat files, with a recent passport photograph attached.
“The requirements include evidence of physical and mental fitness from a government recognised medical hospital.
“Evidence of good character from Village/ District Head of the applicant, certificate of origin duly signed by the Local Government Chairman or Secretary,” Dibigi stated.
He said other requirements were, National Identity Number (NIN) – Slip Printout, original and duplicate copies of credentials – O’Level Results, Birth Certificate / Declaration of Age.
The CP further stated that the candidates should also come with a printout of application form, duly completed guarantor’s form, printout of invitation slip to the venue for the screening exercise on the dates indicated on their invitation slip.
