By: Olusegun Lawrence A female delegate representing market women association, Mrs. Ezenwa Ifeanyinwan slumped on Wednesday at the venue of the ongoing national conference.
Mrs. Ifeanyinwa, fainted while returning to the chamber for evening plenary after the lunch. The break holds daily between 2- 4pm.
She was immediately assisted by security agents around, including operatives from the State Security Service, SSS, and the National Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC.
The delegate was rushed into a room and was later brought out to the lobby where a doctor attended to her. However, before the doctor arrived, another female delegate had prayed for her.
Meanwhile, very few delegates knew about the incident as many of them had already gone inside the chamber for the evening plenary.
