Chelsea are trying to convince Victor Osimhen to join them, according to TEAMtalk.
The new outlet claimed several former Chelsea players and intermediaries are trying to convince Osimhen to join the Blues in a potential £120m deal and that there is a confidence that he would pick them over their rivals.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino is looking to improve his forward line.
Chelsea’s current first-choice striker Nicolas Jackson was on fire just before the international break, scoring four goals in his last two outings.
However, he failed to make much of an impact in the 4-1 loss to Newcastle United on Saturday.

Last season, he scored 31 goals in all competitions for Napoli, with five of those coming in just six Champions League games.
