Super Falcons star, Chiamaka Nnadozie has made the final shortlist for the Goalkeeper of the Year in the 2024 CAF Awards.
Prompt News reports that Nnadozie will battle four other goalkeepers for the prestigious award.
The Paris FC shot stopper won the inaugural award last year.
Falconets forward, Chiamaka Okwuchukwu also made the final cut in the Young Player of the Year category.
Okwuchukwu shone for the Falconets at the the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia.
The Super Falcons are also in contention for the Women’s National Team of the Year.
Nigerian champions Edo Queens are also nominated for the Women’s Club of the Year.
Edo Queens finished fourth at the 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League.
The CAF Awards 2024 cover the period between January 2024 and October 2024.
The award ceremony will be held on 16 December 2024 in Marrakech, Morocco.
