President Muhammadu Buhari has reminded Ministers and other cabinet members to uphold the oath they swore at their inauguration in order to move Nigeria to the next level.
The President is presiding over the 16th Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting and the first in his Second Term today at the Council Chambers, Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.
He charged the ministers to work hard to meet the expectations of millions of Nigerians who voted the government into power.
Meanwhile, ahead of the judgement by the presidential election tribunal today, the All Progressives Congress (APC) national leader, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and former national chairman, Bisi Akande are in Abuja.
They arrived Monday night and were said to have had a dinner with the President.
Also, chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum and Ekiti state Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, is expected to fly in as well.
Prompt News recalls that the presidential candidate of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, is challenging the victory of the APC’s President Buhari at the presidential election petition tribunal sitting in Abuja.
