To mark a month of the abduction of over 200 girls of Government Secondary School, Chibok in Borno State, the #BringBackOurGirls campaigners will hold a night vigil on Wednesday night.
According to Rinsola Abiola of the Media Task Team, the vigil will hold at the Thisday Dome in the Central Business District, Abuja from 8.30pm to 12.00am.
In view of this, the daily sit-out at Unity Fountain, which starts by 3.00pm, will not hold today.
The girls were abducted exactly a month ago by the Islamist insurgents, Boko Haram.
The abduction has sparked world outrage and world leaders are now coming together to assist Nigerian Government in rescuing the girls.
On Monday, the sect, Boko Haram released a video shown the girls reciting verses of the Holy Quran.
The leader, Abubakar Shekau in the accompany statement said the sect would be willing to release the girls only if government is ready to set free some of their commanders in the custody of security operatives.
