The wife of Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Zainab Atiku Bagudu, Monday afternoon paid a courtesy visit to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) leadership to seek collaboration for her planned novelty football match to raise awareness for the treatment of Breast Cancer in Nigeria.
Speaking to the sporting media after a close door meeting with the top brass of the NFF led by the General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, she disclosed that her outfit, Medicaid Cancer Foundation (MCF) will on October 21, 2017 organize a novelty match in Abuja to raise awareness for the deadly cancer dieses.
According to her, the NFF is the custodian of football activities in Nigeria hence, she came to seek for approval to hold a match in Abuja.
On his own part, Sanusi said that the NFF will support her to achieve her aim.
