Rivers State House of Assembly is currently being demolished, ARISE NEWS is reporting.
It is gathered that the demolition order is at the instance of Rivers State Governor Sim Fubara.
PROMPT NEWS recalls that recently, 27 lawmakers loyal to the immediate past governor, Nyesom Wike, defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The development has further heightened political crisis that has engulfed the state in the past few weeks.
