The Director General of Labour Party Presidential Campaign Organisation, Dr. Doyin Okupe has stepped down from his official position.
He has consequently, informed the party’s Presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Gregory Obi of his decision to quit his post.
In a four paragraphs letter adressed to Mr Obi, obtained by Prompt News on Tuesday evening, Okupe pointedly said he will not allow his personal travails to affect his political fortunes in the 2023 Presidential Election.
He also advised him to appoint a new Director General for the Presidential Campaign forthwith.
