The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja on Tuesday granted bail to the National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Olisa Metuh.
In granting the bail, the court ordered him to pay N400 million and to also provide two sureties in like sum.
Both sureties the court said must be resident in Abuja and should swear an affidavit of means with two passport photographs.
The PDP spokesperson has also been ordered to deposit his travel document with the court.
Mr. Metuh is facing trial over N400 million traced to his account allegedly from the $2.1 billion meant for arms purchase but disbursed by the former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, for political purposes.
