The abducted Dapchi schoolgirls have just been releaased, report monitored on TVC News says.
According to TVC News correspondent in Damaturu, Yobe state, the girls were dropped off by Boko Haram suspects and handed over to their parents.
He however, could not ascertain the actual number of girls released as at press time.
Surprisingly, the correspondent said troops were withdrawn from military checkpoints in Dapchi, shortly before the release of the girls.
It was also reported that there was no single gunshot, suggesting that there may have been negotiation between the government and boko haram leadership.
