The presidential candidate of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar has landed in the United States of America.
Atiku, who announced this via his twitter handle @atiku, was in company of the President of the Senate, Abubakar Bukola Saraki.
He said he would hold meetings with top US government officials during the visit.
“Just arrived Washington D.C for meeting with US government officials, Nigerians living in D.C metropolis and the business community,” he tweeted.
Prompt News Online reports that Atiku Abubakar had been denies US visa for years owing corruption allegation which he has consistently denied.
