Brazil legend Edmundo Alves de Souza Neto has labelled Victor Osimhen an “absolute champion”.
Edmundo was nicknamed “The Animal’ during his playing days.
The 52- year-old was known for his fighting spirit on the pitch.
Edmundo was recently asked if his nickname ‘The Animal’ would suit Napoli’s talisman Osimhen.
“Well, I don’t know him that well,” Edmundo told Italian sports newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport .
“We have different characteristics, I played further back and he is a centre-forward who knows how to go deep behind the defenders.
“I consider him an absolute champion, but I don’t know if he can be considered the best in his role at an international level,” he continued. READ ALSO:

Osimhen has played nine competitive matches this season and scored five times for Napoli.
