The village of Alagarno, near Chibok where over 200 girls were abducted last month, came under attack early Wednesday by the Islamist insurgents, Boko Haram.
It was gathered that the latest attack left about 17 people dead. The insurgents were reported to have looted the village after the killing.
Prompt News recalls that after abducting the secondary school girls in Chibok, the attackers, Boko Haram also looted the school kitchen and left with all the food stuffs after which they set the place ablaze.
On Tuesday afternoon, there was suicide bomb blasts at Jos Central Market in Plateau State, which left about 118 people dead and over 56 seriously injured.
The sect, Boko Haram, seems to be concentrating attacks on outside the emergency areas now.
On April 14, they launched an attack at Nyanya, a suburb of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, which left over 75 dead and followed it with another one barely a week after, killing scores as well.
