The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Lagos Branch, has elected a new set of executives with Bisi Makanjuola, emerging the new chairman.
He defeated two other contestants having polled the highest votes of 720, being 43% of the total votes cast.
Makanjuola, who will succeed outgoing chairman Ikechukwu Uwanna, defeated Olumayowa Owolabi and Adebola Lema.
Other officers elected are: Esther Ifeoma Jimoh (Vice Chairperson); Muobo Majemite (Secretary); Oyindamola Chinelo Fasakin (Social Secretary); Omoniyi Onabule (Publicity Secretary).
Others are: Bennita Nneka Olejeme (Financial Secretary); Adeola Olabamiji (Assistant Secretary); Olaide Oluwayomi Ajewole (Welfare Secretary); Ono Frances (Treasurer); and Ali Jubril (Provost).
