Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hycinth Iormen Alia has congratulated Nigeria’s U-20 team for their qualification into the quarter-final of the ongoing FIFA U-20 World Cup in Argentina.
The Governor while congratulating the boys and technical crew urged them to remain focused until the cup is won.
He said to achieve a goal in life, people must work together irrespective of tribe, religion and cultural affiliation.
“Sports unite nation’s together particularly the round leather game called FOOTBALL . Your. victory (Flying Eagles ) against Argentina showed that Nigeria can conquer the world with determination and believe that we are one.
” I urge you to go out there in your next match on Saturday and do the needful by giving us victory,” the Governor said.
