The management of Bayelsa United Football Club has fixed Thursday 6th July 2023 for resumption of training activities ahead of the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League season.
The management in a statement tasked all the twenty-six retained players to report to their Ogboloma camp on Thursday in preparation for the new season.
According to the statement the essence of the early resumption is to enable the team to prepare for a better season having sustained the NPFL.
The statement urges all the players to give their best for the new season with a high level of discipline and focus as was displayed last season.
It explains that top players retained for the new season includes last seasons second highest goal scorer Robert Mizo, midfielder Alex Oyowah, Edwin Ayiba, Stephen Ikechi Wisdom,Alex Jerry,Gabriel Biriduba, Sheriff Yinsua, Saro Loveday and goalkeeper Kelvin Ogunga.
It equally prays to God to guide them from their various destinations to Yenagoa ahead of the new season.
