Bayelsa State Government says it will organize a special State memorial service on Tuesday, next week, in honour of the 11 prominent female politicians who died in the ill-fated ghastly road crash on the 14 of this month.
A statement by the State Government says it is in keeping with an earlier promise to participate fully in their funeral.
The service, which is scheduled to hold by noon at the Gabriel Okara Cultural Centre, will be attended by President Goodluck Jonathan and his wife, Dame Patience Jonathan.
A Government House statement, also called on well meaning Bayelsans, both at home and abroad to attend the service and give their last respect to the departed women.
