Apparently to calm frayed nerves of family members, friends and the entire public, the management of the Economic and Financial Commission (EFCC), has said that its Chairman,
Abdulrasheed Bawa is hale and hearty.
A terse statement by Wilson Uwujaren, Head, Media and Publicity made available to journalists on Thursday, said the EFCC boss has received medical attention and is due back at his desk.
Prompt News had earlier reported that Bawa felt unwell at an event at the Presidential Villa, Abuja and was taken out.
Uwujaren’s statement read in parts: “This clarification became necessary following an incident today September 16, 2021 at the Presidential Villa, Abuja where he was giving a goodwill message to the National Identity Day celebration, felt unwell and had to return to his seat.
“He has since received medical attention and is due back at his desk”.
