Nigerian comedian and actor Ayo Makun, popularly known as AY, recently made a courtesy visit to the Governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori.
The actor shared photographs from the visit on his Instagram account, which also featured veteran actor Richard Mofe Damijo.
AY conveyed his sense of honor during the visit, stating that the purpose was to endorse his latest film, The Waiter.
Ayo characterized the occasion as a significant moment to commemorate the remarkable journey of Akpos, a character that has not only won the affection of many but has also achieved a place in the Guinness World Record.
He wrote, “Honoured to pay a courtesy visit to His Excellency, the Governor of Delta State, to officially endorse The Waiter movie, showing in cinemas nationwide from December 20th!
It’s a special moment as we celebrate the incredible journey of Akpos, a character that has not only captured hearts but also made history by entering the Guinness World Records.
