Taiwo Awoniyi will play no part in Nottingham Forest’s Premier League opening fixture against Arsenal.
The Tricky Trees will travel to the Emirates Stadium on Saturday for the matchday one encounter.
Awoniyi recently returned to training after recovering from an ankle injury.
Nottingham Forest during his interaction with the media ahead of the game said the striker is not fully fit.
“Felipe, for sure. Moussa is just about returning to training, and so is Taiwo, so the game probably comes too soon for them,”Cooper told a press conference on Thursday.
The 25-year-old was the Reds’ top scorer with 10 goals last season. READ ALSO:
