Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, Saturday night announced 176 new cases of coronavirus codenamed Covid-19. Surprisingly, Oyo state which had hitherto being recording low cases climbed up, recording 31 new cases in a day. Also, 12 other states and FCT recorded fresh cases, bringing the total confirmed cases in Nigeria to 5,621 with 176 deaths. The Confederation of African Football (CAF) says it will accelerate the payment of final tranche of financial rewards to participating clubs in its interclub competitions for the 2019/20 season. Dr Rilwanu Mohammed, Executive Chairman, Bauchi State Primary Healthcare Development Agency (BASPHCDA), said on Saturday that 24 medical officers in the state, had tested positive to coronavirus.
