Lagos State is considering full re-opening of the critical sectors of its economy, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, revealed on Sunday. But, the move will not be pushed in a hurry. Nigeria on Sunday recorded 338 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total confirmed cases of the dreaded Covid-19 to 5,959 Lagos state, the epicentre of the pandemic in Nigeria, recorded the highest number of 177 cases, followed by Kano with 64 and FCT 21 cases. A private sector-led Coalition Against COVID-19 (CACOVID), has donated more extraction kits and silicon swabs to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) toward enhancing COVID-19 tests in the country.
