Bribes are routinely paid by major foreign pharmaceutical firms operating in China, the BBC has learned. Five drugs salesmen for foreign companies told the BBC their firms paid bribes in order to increase sales of their products. None of them wanted to be identified, fearing they would lose their jobs. Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan of Delta State has said that the Nigerian Governors’ Forum (NGF) was determined to check the challenge of oil theft in the country. The House of Representatives has said that the report of the International Criminal Court (ICC) on Boko Haram is being closely monitored, saying it would await further decision on whether the sect members would be tried for crimes against humanity.
