Sequel to a request by Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed of Kwara state, the House of Assembly has approved the Governor’s request to access N1.25 billion from a commercial bank. The lawmakers having deliberated on the report of the House Committee on Finance and Appropriation headed by Suleiman Sunaboro, gave the approval. No fewer than 42 people were on Friday drowned in a boat mishap on River Niger close to Malilli Village in Borgu Local Government Area of Niger State.
