Nigerian Troops have rescued 10 people abducted by terrorists in Zamfara State. The rescued persons, who are farmers were kidnapped recently. “They were working on their farms, when a group of bandits attacked them, and took 10 of them away,” a local source in Zamfara told PRNigeria. The Police Command in Akwa Ibom on Wednesday confirmed the abduction of a Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr Eyo Edet. The World Bank on Wednesday said it has approved a 750 million U.S. dollar loan to finance Philippines’ programmes to boost environmental protection and climate resilience.
