Gov. Dapo Abiodun of Ogun, has approved the appointment of six Special Advisers to take charge of some agencies in the state. Mr Tokunbo Talabi, the Secretary to the State Government who made this known in statement issued in Abeokuta on Wednesday, said the measure is aimed at ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of government. An Area Court sitting at Centre-Igboro, Ilorin, has dissolved the 34 years marriage between Ibrahim Aduke and Ishola Akanbi, due to lack of love. The presiding Judge, AbdulQadir Umar, dissolved the marriage between the plaintiff and the defendant. A businessman, Abdullahi Bello, was on Wednesday docked in a Sharia Court sitting in Kano for allegedly sending fake payment alert. The defendant who lives in Rano town, Kano is charged with cheating and theft. He however, pleaded guilty to the charge. Justice Uche Agomoh of the Federal High Court, Ibadan, on Wednesday remanded three men: Peter Aniboro; Tunde Popoola and Seun Akinola over alleged examination malpractices. Ruling on the matter, Agomoh, admitted each of them to bail of N500,000 with two reliable sureties in like sum.
