A Public Relations aide to Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Alaba Yusuf, on Saturday slammed Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, APC flagbearer over a comment attributed to him during his speech at the APC presidential rally in Ondo State, where he called “Atiku a sell all” candidate.
Yusuf, a renowned PR expert, said Tinubu’s claims on the selling of national assets were nothing but mere lies against the reputation of his boss.
Recall that Tinubu was in Ondo State on Saturday in continuation of his presidential campaign.
However, in a statement issued by Yusuf, who argued that Atiku, a former Vice President, never sold national assets to neither his friends or himself, said “outright fallacy was unpardonable”
The statement titled ‘Tinubu Lies Against Atiku’, read: “Tinubu at APC rally in Akure today, called HE Atiku a “sell all candidate”, making odious reference to the BPE and Privatization policy of OBJ/Atiku administration (1999-2007).
“Commonsense isn’t common after all. If not BAT should have sought the counsel of the then Director General of Bureau of Public Enterprise, BPE, who’s now the APC Governor of Kaduna, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai.
“The alternative was for Team BAT to read the memoir of the diminutive ex FCT Minister titled:
“Accidental Public Servant” in which he clearly stated and unequivocally too, that “Atiku, the former Vice President, never interfered in the running of BPE under me, nor did he sell or bought any national asset.”
“If BAT can’t see that, his communication eagles should fetch him that simple information.
“Outright fallacy is unpardonable; quite different from his usual gaffes of Balablu…Yaku yahoo, gluglugluuu.
“Truth is one and indivisible. Atiku did not sell national assets to himself or his friends.
