The presidential candidate of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has won the presidential election in Osun State.
Atiku polled a total of 354,366 votes in 20 local government areas to claim victory over the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwjau Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who won in 10 local government areas with 343,945 votes.
Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party, came third polling only 23,283 votes.
Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) came 4th with 713 votes.
