Atalanta manager, Gian Piero Gasperini heaped plaudits on Ademola Lookman after the winger scored a brace in the club’s 8-2 rout of Salernitana on Sunday.
Lookman bagged a brace and also provided an assist in the game.
“When you get a result like this, you also accept the goals conceded, we weren’t so happy about the first goal because we didn’t read a fairly simple play well. After, the team put in a great performance.
“Usually the strong ones don’t take that long, I could also say Hojlund and Koopmeiners. He’s (Lookman) already gained experience, he’s not a beginner.
Lookman has settled down well at Atalanta following his arrival from Bundesliga club, RB Leipzig last summer.
The Nigeria international has scored nine goals in 16 league appearances for La Dea.
