The Commander, Training and Doctrine Command, Nigerian Army (TRADOC), Maj.-Gen. Kevin Aligbe, has inaugurated a 55-member panel for the 2024 Captain to Major examination.
This is contained in a statement issued on Wednesday by the Acting Deputy Director, Army Public Relations, TRADOC, Lt.-Col. Sani Uba.
Aligbe, who is also the Examination President, charged the panelists to bring their wealth of experience to bear in the discharge of their responsibilities.
He reminded them that their nomination was based on their integrity and professional competence, as such they must be fair, thorough and upright in the conduct of the examination.
The commander, therefore, urged them to guard against actions that could compromise the essence of the examination.
He added that as one of the core determinants of the candidates’ career progression, the examination must be handled objectively and transparently in line with the Nigerian Army Examination Charter.

“You must be meticulous and fair in setting the examination towards achieving the end state of prodding the officers’ ability to solve problems rather than seeing the examination as a weeding process.
“Going forward, the examination should help the Nigerian army to produce problem-solving officers in line with the Chief of Army Staff ‘s Command Philosophy,” he added. (NAN)
