Super Eagles midfielder, Joe Aribo is expected to make a return to Rangers on loan before the end of the current transfer window.
The Nigerian international joined Premier League club Southampton from Rangers last summer.
Aribo has however struggled for regular playing time at the St Mary’s Stadium.
BBC Scotland pundit, Kenny Miller stated that Rangers manager, Michael Beale would love to bring the midfielder back to the Ibrox.
“Michael Beale has become known for wanting to play two No.10s in his Rangers team. But at this rate, he could have eight at his disposal for just three slots,” Miller wrote in his column in the Daily Record.
“With news that Southampton might look to offload Joe Aribo, I’ve even heard some Gers fans say the club should bring him back.
“But where would he fit in? Incidentally, if Michael could get Aribo back on loan, I’m sure it’s something he’ll have looked at, given the Nigerian’s contribution last time around.”
