Joe Aribo was happy to see Rangers recorded another important win in the Scottish Premiership against St. Johnstone on Wednesday night.
The Gers maintained their unbeaten streak under new manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst with a 2-0 win at Ibrox Stadium.
Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent scored both goals for the hosts.
“The boys are buzzing, it wasn’t the best at times but it’s nice to get over the obstacle and to get the three points,” Rangers TV.
“We spoke about it before the game, we knew it’s not always going to be a fast start so we have to be patient, that’s what we have to do and then we were lucky to get the breakthrough just before halftime”.
On being named man of the match and what has given him strength over the last few weeks, Aribo said : “I’m just playing freely.
“I don’t know if I’m actually honest, it’s just playing freely and just thankful for God for my talents.”
Aribo’s compatriot Calvin Bassey was also terrific, helping Rangers keep their fourth consecutive clean sheet in the Premiership.
