The President of Super Star Football Academy Hon. Victor Apugo said his Academy has a solid background and the best in Uyo having the best sporting facilities for the students
Apugo who spoke in Abuja during the FIFA Talent Development Scheme for Football Stakeholders Workshop , commended NFF for putting up such programme which has broadened the knowledge of grassroot coaches and academies.
He said the programme has enriched on how to run his academy effectively .
” I manage one of the best academies if not the best in Uyo. The Workshop has taught me to be more effective and how to identify the young talents at the lower level of football. I organise scouting program with invitation of foreign football scout.”.
Apugo also emphasised the need for the NFF to regulate the prolification of academies in the country . ” I am happy NFF President Ibrahim Gusau has made it clear that all academies will henceforth registered with the football house through the States FA to avoid claims and counter claims of players. I wish also that NFF should have this kind of workshop yearly “. Said Apugo.
