The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Monday reconstituted the Working Committee of the party in Adamawa State, in line with Article 12 of the APC Constitution.
In a brief ceremony at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja, the Party’s National Secretary, Mai Mala Buni stated that the event was as a result of the large number of vacancies in the Adamawa State Working Committee (SWC).
Buni said in line with the Party’s Constitution, it became necessary for the vacuum to be filled.
He said: “In line with our constitution which does not create room for vacuum, we have leaders and people with capable hands which we know and trust. It is my honour and privilege, on behalf of the National Chairman and in conformity with relevant articles of our constitution to inaugurate the Working Committee of our party in Adamawa”
The 10-member state interim management committee are: Ibrahim Bilal, Acting State Chairman; Samaila Tadawus, Acting Deputy State Chairman; Hon Vincent Musa, Acting State Secretary; Sa’idu Maira, Acting Deputy State Secretary; Muhammad Zubairu Audu, Acting State Vice Chairman, South;
Others are: Monday Audu, Acting State Financial Secretary; Ibrahim Audu, Acting State Publicity Secretary; Gambo Bakari, Acting State Auditor; Hauwa H. Jalo Koma, Acting State Women Leader; Abubakar Dan’azumi, Acting Youth leader.
Speaking on behalf of the committee, the Acting State Chairman, Ibrahim Bilal said the newly inaugurated Adamawa State Working Committee were ready for the onerous task placed on them and will work to sustain APC’s gains in the state.
Bilal called on the party’s National Leadership to give the newly inaugurated Adamawa State Working Committee the needed support.
The inauguration follows the vacuum created by several appointments gotten by members of the committee and the death of the chairman, Yamusa Shuaibi.
