Chief Kevin Ezeoha, outgoing Caretaker Committee Chair of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Enugu South Local Government Area, has said that the party’s bid to takeover power in the state is work-in-progress.
Ezeoha said this while speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday in Enugu on the resolve of APC faithful to win all elective positions in the council area henceforth.
According to him, we have all worked tirelessly to see that the party is repositioned at the council and by extension in the state to win elections and improve tremendously from where we are at present.
He said: “I want to assure all party faithful that they will definitely reap the fruits of their hard work to reposition the party and get more members in the local government.
“I can confidently say that the party has you all to work with anytime in any capacity to actualise our dreams of taking over the seat of power in Enugu come 2023 and in other elective polls”.
The outgoing chairman described the party faithful in the council area as “trust worthy’’, adding: “you do not allow greed to take over your commitment to the party structure”.
“I urge the party faithful to remain on right track in their political careers as there will be light and reward at the end of the tunnel,’’ he noted.
Ezeoha expressed profound gratitude to the leaders of the party in the council area, Chief Hyacinth Ngwu, Chief Chime Edeh, Chief Silas Ogbodo and others for their support.
“As I bow out as the Local Government Party Chairman, I am not bowing out of politics, instead it is about more tasks ahead. (NAN)
