Enyimba chairman, Felix Anyansi-Agwu is reportedly headed for the exit door after several years managing the affairs of the club.
Anyansi-Agwu was absent when Abia State governor, Alex Otti hosted Enyimba players for winning the 2022/23 Nigeria Premier League title on Thursday.
The experienced football administrator absence has further add to speculations that he will be relieved of his duty by the new government.
Already, Chairman of another club owned by the state, Emeka Inyama has resigned from the post.
Under Anyansi-Agwu, Enyimba won all their major international and national honours – two CAF Champions League, nine Nigeria Premier League titles and four FA Cups.
Prompt News reports that Anyansi-Agwu is also the First Vice President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
