Annie Idibia, a Nollywood actress and wife of Nigerian singer 2baba, has shared her thoughts after hearing a touching story from American singer, Kelly Rowland about her mother’s struggles.
Taking to Instagram, the superstar singer opened up about the emotional moment of buying her first home, an achievement that is a big deal in her family.
She revealed that her mother worked hard as a nanny and housekeeper, taking on low-paying jobs to support the family.
Annie, who could relate to Rowland’s experience, disclosed how her own mother faced more difficult challenges, but eventually found grace.
She vowed to take her on trips around the world and give her a comfortable life, affirming that her mother truly deserves it.
She wrote, “I keep wondering why I love Kelly. The story is so close to mine; her mum was only a nanny and housekeeper. That’s what we call (house girl) in Naija. Mine was a bit worse!! But hey!! Grace found me.
