As the three-match ultimatum given the head coach of Abia Warriors Football club Imama Amapakabo currently placed 19th position with 2 points from 6 matches drops closer, there is a strong indication that the coach will be shown the exit door.
According to our source, the under performing tactician has only one match left against the Lobi Stars of Makurdi in an away clash to save his job.
“I must tell you, Amapakabo is a good coach but he has no luck. Football is a game of performance and luck. If you don’t have the grace of luck, you are bound to fail. You know he was lucky in El-Kanemi Warrious and National U23.
“Keeping him beyond his luck meaning preparing the club to play in lower division next football season. We have started negotiation with a coach of high quality.
“Winning Lobi Stars this weekend in Makurdi will not save his job. His matter has been concluded by the club’s management.
“What the club need now is a good and experience coach who can take the club out of deep rooted relegation zone.
Though the coach has promised to record win with an away clash with in-form Lobi Stars of Makurdi this weekend.
