The Vision Is Eternity and The Goal is Aljannah
*******Umar’s possessiveness****
The Materialist have impressed it in the mind of the ignorant man that without plenty money he cannot be happy. The unbeliever and the Capitalist sold the idea to the world that there is paradise on earth, all that you need is plenty wealth to create your own ‘paradise’. The rat race now is the quest for ‘prosperity’.
The reality on the ground have shown that money can only buy you things, it cannot in anyway buy you happiness neither can it purchase you peace of the mind.
Irrespective of your earthly material condition all Muslim must worship the Creator – Allah, at specific time, in a specific way anywhere he is on the surface of the earth or in the Moon and in a particular tongue (Arabic). These applies to both human being and the Jinn.
Narrated in Hadith Qudsi: “The purpose for creation is to worship the Creator”.
Wealth will attract to you more enemy than friends, so also is position and power. Only way happiness can reach you is through your heart. Access to your heart should be made available to your Creator. The only One that could however offer your heart peace demands obedient to His Book and His Messenger, Muhammad (p.b.u.h)!
Regarding the Book, the Glorious Qur’an, Allah s.w.t says: “This is the Book, in it is Guidance sure without doubt, to those who are believers” Q2:2. I am yet to come a cross any book that is so sure of guidance, a book that has no contradiction, a book that teaches moral without vulgarity. That Book is the Glorious Qur’an!
Guiding humanity is a duty Allah considered important and so, in His wisdom, he has created Mankind with a high level of intelligence. It is expected that with intelligence, he is to be reasonable. There could however be a challenge for him.
For these reasons, Allah take special interest in whatever you consume and has forbade you taken any intoxicant that will affect your heart and mind in reverse order by guiding you through dos and don’ts:
Islam has forbid you the eating of pork
It has forbid you indecent sexual activity
It has prohibit the taking of intoxicant and
It has encourage decent dressing
The Prophet said:” Every religion has its core value. The core value of Islam is modesty”
In this age like the previous period of Jahiliyyah i.e the period of ignorance when nudity is taking as fashionable, worship of image was deemed to be worship and getting intoxicated was considered to be sociable.
The modern woman have added to her trouble. Examine her nails, hair, shoes and dress you will noticed that they are all from different part of the world at great cost to her health and Wellbeing. The Nation also suffered losses in terms of capital flight. On health ground, her skin is neither Nigerian nor Asia. Japan or European. These happens because each of her getup comes from different part of the Continent.
The food we eat will be looked into at another time. For today, is there a purpose for the manner Allah created humanity? How does Islam help us?
Our Differences is for Identity:
49:13. “O mankind! We have created you from a Male and a Female, and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know one another. Verily, the most honourable of you with Allah is that (believer) who has At-Taqwa (i.e. one of the Muttaqoon (pious – see V.2:2). Verily, Allah is All- Knowing, All-Aware”.
This verse revealed to us by Allah(s.w.t) indicate the following:
Allah create humanity in pairs, male and female
Meaning that the Male is markedly different from the Female
He made us into Continent, Nation and tribes
He gave us varied complexion, heights and sizes
He made the tongues and tone differ
These He did for us to identify ourselves and of course to compliment each other
For you to be entitled to be addressed as ‘Honorable’ or ‘Excellency’
And for you to qualify to answer to that tittle
A condition is attached: You must have piety, be God Conscious!!!
Is it worthy to work with God Consciousness?
What is in it for me? Why should I be a Muslim?:
Volume 4, Book 54, Number 467: Narrated Abu Huraira:Allah’s Apostle said,
‘Allah said, ‘I have prepared for My Pious slaves things which have never been seen by an eye, or heard by an ear, or imagined by a human being.’

Allah has this to say concerning intoxicants:
5:90. O you who believe! Intoxicants (all kinds of alcoholic drinks), gambling, AlAnsab, and AlAzlam (arrows for seeking luck or decision) are an abomination of Shaitans (Satan) handiwork. So avoid (strictly all) that (abomination) in order that you may be successful.
5:91. Shaitan (Satan) wants only to excite enmity and hatred between you with intoxicants (alcoholic drinks) and gambling, and hinder you from the remembrance of Allah and from As-Salat (theprayer). So, will you not then abstain?
For your own good:
5:92. And obey Allah and the Messenger (Muhammad SAW), and beware (of even coming near to drinking or gambling or AlAnsab, or AlAzlam, etc.) and fear Allah. Then if you turn away, you should know that it is Our Messengers duty to convey (the Message) in the clearest way.
5:93. Those who believe and do righteous good deeds, there is no sin on them for what they ate (in the past), if they fear Allah (by keeping away from His forbidden things), and believe and do righteous good deeds, and again fear Allah and believe, and once again fear Allah and do good deeds with Ihsan (perfection). And Allah loves the good-doers.
