Former Flying Eagles forward Jerome Akor has won Montpellier’s Player of the Month award for October.

The 23-year-old got the highest number of votes from the supporters following his impressive showing for the club last month.
Akor scored four goals in three league outings for the club in the month.
The striker beat Joris Chotard and Mousa Tamari to the Individual honour.

His impressive performance in the game earned him a place in the Ligue 1 Team of the Week.
Akor joined the former Ligue 1 champions from Norwegian outfit Lillestrom in the summer.
